Story
An outing to Gloss Mountain State Park. Lone Peak Mountain is part of the Gloss Mountains in northwestern Oklahoma.
Date
Possibly about 1925. The pictures in Hilda's album were dated between 1919 and 1927.

Near Fairview, Oklahoma.
Notes
- Scanned on December 6, 2014 from a picture album prepared by Hilda Ida Brunken.
- The Gloss Mountains are rugged red mesas covered with selenite crystals that cause them to sparkle in the sunlight. The Gloss Mountains are sometimes called the Glass Mountains because of the high Selenite content that mimics a shiny glass exterior.
