Story

 Aunt Mildred expressed great pride while showing me this picture of her with her brother, Alvin, who is shown here in his Reserve Officers Training Corp (ROTC) uniform.  Alvin was attending college at Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College (Now - Oklahoma State University) in Stillwater, Oklahoma. A requirement at the time was that all male students must take reserve officers training during their freshman and sophomore years.
